 Fast, Furious, & Quiet as a Mouse |

I was ready to move beyond the days of USB 2.0 and it's 480Meg transfer limits. Tired of waiting on backups to copy to my external drive (literally taking hours). I did some research, and for the money, this drive kit had everything I was looking for.
This thing is FAST! It's like having an internal SATA II drive sitting on your desktop. (Considering that's what ESATA is... well you get the picture).
My backup times were dropped substantially. (Sorry too lazy to do the math and give you an actual percentage...)
The kit which included the E-SATA adapter for my computer case was well worth the extra 5.00 vs the next comparable model. Unfortunately my high dollar ASUS board (P5E) did not include ESATA connectors. This kit remedied the problem. It took all of 5 minutes to install, format, and start using.
It runs cool, lightning fast, and is pretty darn quiet.

| It's quiet and doesn't get hot. It's a decent drive as it's been 7 months and hasn't done anything wrong. The led in the front is a really bright blue so I have taped over it. It flashes red when there is drive access but the blue drowns it out. |
